Trunki Folding Balance Bike, 12-inch Wheels Fold to carry/car boot

The Trunki Folding Balance Bike is a compact folding bike designed for young riders learning to balance and develop their cycling skills. With 12-inch wheels and a steel frame finished in blue, it's built to be portable enough to throw in the car boot or carry along when you're travelling with children. The frame folds down to make it genuinely easy to transport, which is the main draw if you're juggling family trips, holidays, or just want something that doesn't dominate your hallway at home.

The bike features a flat handlebar and an adjustable seat, so it can grow with your child through those early riding years. There's a basket for carrying small bits and pieces, and it comes with a lock for security when you leave it parked up. Being a balance bike with a single speed, there's no gearing to think about—it's straightforward and requires minimal maintenance, which suits the no-fuss approach most families need. The steel construction is durable, though the original owner notes there's some surface rust on the handlebars, which is worth knowing if you're particular about appearance or live somewhere damp.

This works well for families who want a lightweight option that doesn't require permanent storage space at home, and it's equally suited to taking on days out or holidays where a child might need transport. The unisex design and practical features like the basket mean it covers the basics without unnecessary complications. It's the sort of bike you buy because you need something that's genuinely portable first, and a capable learner bike second.
