Tern Verge N8 folding bike, 20", black, 8 Speed

This is a used Tern Verge N8 folding bike in good condition. About 5 years old.

It is a stylish, sporty looking, comfortable and very reliable bike which has served me well since purchase in 2021.

It is a high quality bike which originally sold for £850 and a serious alternative to the far more expensive Bromptons with a wheel size of 20 inches and an 8 speed Shimano Claris gear setup.

(I preferred it to the Brompton. Although its larger and heavier, its far better suited for poor quality roads with its larger wheels and tyres. Also far easier to service and fix a puncture if you need to, as both wheels are easy to remove roadside. Also well suited to a long bike ride home when the trains were too problematic. Less of a target for thieves as well!).

It has been well looked after and was fully serviced in early 2025, with brand new front and rear wheels (supplied by Tern), new V brake cantilevers and blocks, new cables, and brand new Schwalbe Marathon tyres.

(Originally I had intended to keep it, but lack of use since I retired in early 2025 forces sale).

I have removed the mudguards and kickstand as I preferred the bike without, but these are supplied if you want to refit them.
