Tern Link C8 Folding Bike 8 Speed – Excellent Condition!

This Tern Link C8 is a blue aluminium folding bike in excellent condition, bought new for £850 and barely used since. It's been stored indoors throughout its life, which shows in how well it's been kept. The Tern Link C8 is designed as an entry-level folding bike that doesn't compromise on the core engineering. It uses Tern's Physis™ 3D Handlepost, which is a rigid system that keeps the bike feeling stiff and responsive despite the compact frame size. The folding mechanism works quickly—it folds in around 10 seconds—making it practical to stash under a desk, in a cupboard, or take on public transport without fussing about.

The bike runs 8-speed derailleur gears paired with v-brakes, giving you a decent range for both climbing hills and cruising through town. The 20-inch wheels are a sensible compromise for a folding bike: they make the bike easy to manoeuvre in traffic and contribute to the tight fold, whilst still rolling efficiently enough for urban journeys. Aluminium construction keeps the weight down compared to steel alternatives, which matters when you're carrying the bike up stairs or onto a train. The bike includes fenders as standard, so you're covered for wet British weather without needing to bolt extras on later.

Day to day, this is a practical tool for commuters who need to combine cycling with public transport, or anyone working in a small office or flat where bike storage is tight. The Link C8 handles the stop-start rhythm of city riding well, and because it folds small enough to take indoors, theft becomes far less of a concern. This particular example is ready to ride and has been well looked after. It's available for collection from Folkestone, Kent CT20, or can be sent via ParcelForce 48 in a proper bike cardboard box.
