Tern folding 7 speed bicycle for adult used

This Tern folding bicycle is a practical 20-inch wheeled bike built for urban riding and commuting where space is tight. Tern makes folding bikes designed to work in real city life, and this white aluminium frame is typical of their straightforward approach to portable cycling. The bike folds down small enough to stash in a cupboard, under a desk, or onto a train, making it useful for anyone juggling cycling with other transport or living in a flat with limited storage.

The 7-speed derailleur gearing gives decent range for urban riding, handling the rolling terrain of most towns and gentle hills without fuss. The V-brakes are direct-pull linear pull brakes, which work reliably in all weather and are easy to adjust or service. Both the gears and brakes are in full working order, so the bike is ready to ride without any mechanical attention needed. The tyres hold air properly with no signs of perishing, which means they've been looked after and should give you decent mileage before needing replacement.

The frame shows its age with the expected knocks and scratches you'd get from real use, but the paintwork is sound underneath. This is a bike that's been ridden rather than stored, and everything that matters mechanically is solid. If you're after a no-nonsense folding bike for getting around town, mixing cycling with buses and trains, or just needing something compact that actually works, this Tern does what it's supposed to do.
