Scout Electric Folding Tricycle in Silver

The Scout E-Scout is an electric folding tricycle in silver, fully built and serviced and ready to ride. This is a three-wheeled electric bike designed for stable, upright riding and suited to users who want the security of three wheels combined with the convenience of a compact fold. The frame is steel throughout, giving it solid construction, and at 24-inch wheels it strikes a practical balance between manoeuvrability and rolling efficiency. The trike has only covered about 100 metres since it was professionally serviced, so it's essentially unused.

The drivetrain uses seven derailleur gears and direct pull V-brakes for controlled stopping. Pedal assist comes from a lithium-ion battery, which takes the effort out of acceleration and hills and works well for longer journeys or riders who prefer electric support for daily use. The step-through frame design makes mounting and dismounting straightforward, which is particularly helpful on a three-wheeler where getting on and off matters more than with a conventional bike. The riding position is upright and comfortable, with an adjustable seat to dial in the right height.

What you get with this trike includes mudguards for wet weather, a basket for carrying small loads, a bell, reflectors for visibility, a pump, and a lock. The display shows battery level and assist mode, keeping you informed while riding. The electric system and three-wheel layout make this tricycle well suited to shorter journeys around town, errands, or anyone who prefers the stability of three wheels over two. This particular example was purchased new for £800, then professionally built and serviced by Cycle Systems Exeter for a further £200. It's being sold built and serviced at a significantly reduced price. Collection is from Woodbury, EX5 1EE, or courier delivery can be arranged by the buyer.
