Rudge (Montague) Bi Frame Folding Mountain Bike 21"

The Rudge is a Montague folding bike designed for urban commuting and everyday use where space is tight. Built from aluminium in blue, it folds in half for easy storage in a car boot or small flat, making it suited to anyone without dedicated bike parking. This particular model is a 21-inch frame mountain bike, meaning it has the geometry and tyre clearance for light off-road riding, though this one has been used primarily as a commuter rather than seeing hard trail use.

The bike has been well looked after over 25 years of ownership and everything functions as it should. There are some marks on the frame and a couple of minor rust patches that clean up easily, which you can see in the photos. The spoke guard—the plastic disc that sits between the gears and rear wheel—is cracked with age, though these are straightforward to replace and cheap to source. Beyond that, the bike is in working order and would benefit only from light cosmetic attention to return it to near-perfect condition.
