Raleigh Stowaway early 1980s folding bike

This is my mother's bike, which she's owned from new - around 1980-82 from memory. She cycled to work on it for over 20 years but it hasn't had much recent use and, at 82, she's not planning on using it again. As well as folding in half, the bars and seat are quick-release to make it as compact as possible.

As far as I'm aware it's entirely original with the exception of tyres and brake blocks. It even has the original pump and the kick stand has a good spring return.

It was always well maintained by my father and stored in the garage but, needless to say, it has started to rust in a few places after 44 years. I've given it a bit of a wipe with an oily rag and bit of polish, followed by a test ride around our cul-de-sac and the 3 speed Sturmey Archer gearshift works well, though sadly the label has long since fallen off the selector on the handlebars. The tyres seem to be holding pressure too, which was a pleasant surprise.

Would be a nice little project to completely restore as a bit of nostalgia, perhaps, or even to commute on.
