Raleigh Stow E Way Compact 8-Speed Folding E--Bike - Grey (Scratched Frame)

The Raleigh Stow E Way Compact is a folding e-bike built for urban commuting and everyday riding. This is a refurbished Grade B+ model in grey, which means it's been checked over and brought back to working order, though the frame carries a few scratches that don't affect how it rides. The aluminium frame keeps the weight manageable for a folding bike, and the compact 20-inch wheels make it nimble in traffic while helping it fold down small enough to carry onto public transport or store in a flat.

The motor assistance takes the effort out of commuting, especially useful when you're carrying shopping or tackling headwinds. The 8-speed Shimano drivetrain with grip shifter handles everyday terrain well, letting you find a comfortable pace without hunting for gears. V-brakes are straightforward and reliable for urban riding, and they work predictably in wet weather. You get mudguards as standard, which keeps road spray off your clothes on damp mornings, and there's a rear rack and basket for carrying a commute load or weekly shopping without needing to add luggage systems.

The step-through frame design makes mounting and dismounting easy, which works well for anyone who cycles in everyday clothes or finds traditional top-tube bikes awkward to swing over. LED lights are built in, and the hub dynamo means they run off your wheel rotation rather than needing batteries—useful for reliability on winter commutes. The folding mechanism means you can take this bike beyond the final bus stop or train station, making it properly versatile for mixed-mode commuting. This model is very lightly used despite the frame marks, so you're getting a bike that rides and shifts like new without the full retail price.
