Raleigh Eclipse - 6 Speed Folding Bike - Shimano Gears - City / Commuting Bike

The Raleigh Eclipse is a 20-inch folding bike designed for city commuting and everyday urban riding. Built with a traditional Raleigh steel frame in silver, it folds down to a manageable size for storage or carrying on public transport. The compact wheel size makes it nimble in traffic and suited to the stop-start rhythm of city cycling, though the smaller diameter does require a bit more effort to maintain momentum over longer flat stretches.

The bike runs a six-speed Shimano drivetrain, which gives enough range for moderate hills and varied terrain without the complexity of more extensive gearing. The side-pull caliper brakes are straightforward and reliable for urban riding, keeping maintenance simple and predictable. This is a bike built to work day in and day out without fuss, and this particular example has barely been ridden, having spent most of its time in storage, so it's in very good condition with minimal wear.

The Eclipse suits anyone looking for a practical folding bike for commuting or local journeys where portability matters. The six speeds and compact frame make it accessible to riders of most abilities, and the Raleigh build quality means it should keep working reliably with basic maintenance. This is a straightforward machine that does what it's designed to do without unnecessary complication.
