NEW * 2026 Brompton G Line Roller Frame Gravel Folding Bike L Forest Green Large

£2,395.00 GBP

This is a brand new, unridden 2026 Brompton G Line Roller Frame in Forest Green, size Large. It's been fitted with MKS-FD7 Japanese folding pedals for display purposes, which will be swapped back to the original Brompton pedals before dispatch. There are light handling marks on the handlebars from brake and gear lever adjustment, which is typical for a new bike. The original Brompton box is included, and the bike will be couriered to you safely packed inside it.

The G Line is Brompton's first folding bike designed to ride like a full-size bike. It uses a hand-brazed steel main frame with an aluminium fork, keeping weight to around 14.8kg while maintaining the rigidity needed for genuine all-terrain riding. The frame geometry is comparable to a mountain bike, yet it still folds down to 25.3cm high by 58cm wide by 27cm deep – small enough for train luggage racks, car boots, and tight storage spaces. The fold takes under 20 seconds and uses self-aligning hinge clamps that make it intuitive to operate.

The wheelset uses 20-inch rims with Schwalbe G-One All Round tyres in tan wall, which are custom-made to resist punctures. These wheels are large enough for proper rolling feel over rough ground but compact enough to fit within the folded envelope. Hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent stopping power in wet and muddy conditions – the first time Brompton has fitted disc brakes as standard. The drivetrain runs an 8-speed Shimano Alfine hub gear system with a 54-tooth chainset, giving a straightforward, low-maintenance approach to gear changing.

Comfort and control have been engineered throughout. The handlebars are Brompton's widest ever, offering better leverage on climbs and rougher terrain. Ergonomic grips are fitted as standard, and the wide platform pedals feature a quick-release mechanism on the left side for even more compactness when folded. The seatpost on the Large size is telescopic, allowing you to fine-tune saddle height after the frame has been sized using Brompton's bike fit guidance.

The bike comes equipped with a rack and mudguards included, so it's ready to carry luggage or protect you from spray without adding aftermarket parts. The frame has internal storage space for a toolkit and mounting bosses for water bottles. It's been tested over 250,000km to handle everything from dusty singletrack to rain-soaked cobbles, making it genuinely capable across a wide range of surfaces rather than just suited to urban pavements. The telescopic saddle, extended handlebars, and all-new 20-inch wheel and tyre design work together to deliver the balanced, planted feel of a proper off-road bike with all-day comfort, rather than the more twitchy handling of traditional Brompton sizes.
