The Mycle Compact’s 250w 36v brushless rear hub electric motor is smaller and more discreet than a mid-drive motor and won’t get in the way when pedalling. It provides a smooth, quiet ride and responds quickly when using pedal assist. Once you’re parked up for the day, you recharge by simply removing the seat post which cleverly hides the battery. It has a range of 30km based on realistic rider weights and a moderate rider effort. Folding down to 85x67x44cm, it’s small enough to take on public transport, store it under a desk or even fit it in most cars.
