Montague Paratrooper Folding Mountain Bike Medium Frame

The Montague Paratrooper is a folding mountain bike built around the practical reality of mixing cycling with other transport. It's an aluminium-framed bike in black, designed for the kind of rider who wants to take their bike beyond the immediate neighbourhood—whether that means loading it onto a train for a weekend away, folding it up to take on the bus, or stashing it in a small space at home. The fold mechanism means you can genuinely use this for commuting without being tied to one mode of transport, which makes it more flexible than a standard bike if your journey involves switching between cycling and public transport.

The bike runs derailleur gears, which gives you a proper range of ratios to work with across different terrain. The combination of the aluminium frame and folding design keeps the weight down compared to a rigid full-size mountain bike, so it's actually manageable to carry when folded. It comes with mudguards fitted as standard, which is practical if you're using it across different seasons and conditions without wanting to add extra kit. A carry bag is included, so the whole package stays contained when you're not riding—important if you're moving it between transport methods or storing it at home.

Day to day, this works well for commuters who need flexibility, weekend riders who want to explore beyond driving distance by combining cycling with travel, or anyone living in a flat or small space who needs a bike that doesn't dominate the hallway. The folding capability genuinely changes how you use a bike, turning it into something that slots into mixed-transport journeys rather than standing alone as your only option.
