Mezzo D9 Folding Bicycle Cycle Bike
The Mezzo D9 is a blue folding bike built around the same practical idea as a Brompton – compact enough to carry onto trains and buses – but with nine derailleur gears rather than the simpler hub gear setup you'd find on many folder rivals. That extra range makes hills and varied terrain noticeably easier to manage without sacrificing the ability to fold down small for commuting and urban riding.
The frame is aluminium alloy, which keeps weight reasonable for a folding bike, and the 16-inch wheels are typical for this class of machine. You get mechanical rim brakes for straightforward maintenance and reliable stopping power in everyday conditions. The pedals have been upgraded to folding metal ones, which means they tuck in properly when the bike is folded rather than sticking out and getting in the way on buses or trains. This bike has been mechanically checked and rides really well, so all the gears and brakes are functioning as they should.
The cosmetic condition reflects some scratches and general wear and tear from use, but nothing that affects how the bike rides or performs. For the full picture of condition, the photos show what to expect. This is collection only from Bracknell due to the size and weight involved, but once you have it, the Mezzo D9 works well for anyone commuting by bike and public transport, or for shorter urban riding where portability matters more than outright speed or range.
