-M12l Lunar Ice Brompton Bike Folding Bike

The M12l Lunar Ice is a British-made Brompton folding bike built around a steel frame and 16-inch wheels, designed for city commuting and urban riding where portability matters. The frame folds compactly, making it practical to carry onto trains, buses, or store in small spaces like flats and offices. The Lunar Ice colour gives it a clean, understated look that works well in professional settings.

The bike uses hub gears with thumb shifters for gear changes, which keep the drivetrain simple and low-maintenance for everyday use. Caliper brakes provide reliable stopping power, whilst the tubular tyres and absence of suspension mean there's less to go wrong and fewer moving parts to service. Mudguards come fitted as standard, so you're protected from spray and dirt without needing to add them later. These practical touches make the M12l suited to all-weather commuting without fuss.

The 16-inch wheels are nimble in traffic and contribute to the compact fold, though they do require more effort to maintain momentum on longer flat stretches compared to larger wheels. The geometry and upright riding position work well for the stop-start nature of city cycling and give decent visibility in urban traffic. Day to day, this folding bike handles short journeys smoothly and the fold itself becomes intuitive after a few goes.

The M12l works for commuters who mix cycling with public transport, or anyone needing a bike that stores easily in a small space. It suits both male and female riders and is equally at home on a quick dash across town or parked under a desk between journeys.
