This ICE Sprint X Tour adult recumbent trike is very comfortable to ride, and has been ridden for only 98 miles since I bought it in August 2020. The nearest equivalent spec on the ICE website configurator today costs £4,750. Please note this is a manual trike without a motor, but has low gears to help hill climbing. It will suit any adult, but is ideal for anyone who finds a traditional bike uncomfortable. As a bonus, car drivers are unexpectedly respectful towards trike riders. 

Key features:
  • The trike has two 20 inch front wheels and one 26 inch rear wheel. 
  • It is designed to fold in under 30 seconds allowing you to carry it in a hatchback or estate car. (I have got a folded ICE trike into a 3 door MINI Cooper.) 
  • The Ergo Luxe seat is incredibly comfortable, and includes a useful pocket for a mobile phone or similar. It is made of breathable fabric with cushioning. 
  • Shimano Deore/105 derailleur gearing with bar end shifters. Note that these are manually operated and not electronic gears. 
  • Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres (with inner tubes). These have Schrader valves. 
  • Very reliable Sturmey Archer drum brakes plus parking brake for rear wheel - ideal for keeping the trike stationery while at traffic lights or while you eat an ice cream.
  • Rear mudguard; capability for fitting front mudguards, not included in listing.) 
  • Bottle mount.
  • Two mirrors, attached to handlebars.
  • Neck rest.
  • Attachment for rear light (on neck rest tube).
  • Two mounts for Garmin bike computer, allowing you to choose the best viewing option.
  • I will include two wrist supports (not currently fitted to the trike) if the buyer wants these.
  • The trike has side bag mounts attached, which can be used to attach carry handlebar bags - additional mount and bag not included in the listing.
A note on sizing. Trikes suit people of different sizes, and this trike has an adjustable boom (which the pedals are attached to) to suit people of different heights. This adjustment can be done in seconds. As an example, the trike has been ridden by people ranging from 5ft 7in (172cm) to 6ft (182cm).
