You're looking at a pair of B'TWIN E-Fold 500 electric folding bikes in green, both in good condition and ready to use for commuting or leisure riding. These are pedal-assist bikes rather than full electric motors, which means the battery works alongside your pedalling to make hills easier and extend range without requiring you to simply twist a throttle. They're based in Coventry and available for collection and viewing there.
The bikes run on removable 252Wh batteries mounted on the rear pannier, which is practical for charging at home without lugging the whole bike indoors. The battery locks in place when you're out and about, so you don't have to worry about it being nicked. Each one comes with its charger. You get three assist modes to choose from—Eco, Normal, and Boost—so you can dial in how much battery you want to use depending on the terrain and how far you're going that day. Both bikes also have built-in lights, which saves you mounting separate front and rear units.
On the mechanical side, these use 7-speed derailleur gears for everyday terrain, and the steel frames fold up reasonably compact. The seat has a carry handle underneath, and there's an assist mode that takes some of the strain out of lugging the folded bike around. Unfolded, each bike measures 145cm long, 113cm high, and 64cm wide. When folded, they shrink down to 84 x 73.5 x 46cm, which is tight enough for a car boot or a cupboard at home. They weigh around 20kg each, so they're not light, but that's typical for electric folding bikes with decent batteries.
The pair cost £750 each, and you can buy them individually or together. The seller is open to reasonable negotiation and willing to offer a discount if you take both. These bikes saw regular use for commuting when the owner lived close to the office in 2023, but after moving house in early 2024, they've been sitting unused in the garage.
