Foldable Bike
£42.30 GBP
The velowell is a compact folding bike built around a 20-inch aluminium frame, designed to collapse down small enough for storage in tight spaces or to carry onto public transport. The single-speed setup keeps things straightforward and low-maintenance, making it a practical choice for short urban journeys where gear changes aren't really needed. It's in decent condition and ready to ride.
The bike runs V-brake stopping power, which is reliable and easy to service, paired with derailleur gears despite the single-speed description, giving you some flexibility if you need it. The 20-inch wheels are typical for folding bikes, making the package compact when folded while still rolling reasonably well on city streets and smoother surfaces. The aluminium frame keeps weight down compared to heavier steel alternatives, which matters when you're regularly folding and unfolding or carrying it between cycling and other transport.
This is the kind of folding bike that suits commuters who need something that fits in a locker, under a desk, or in a car boot between journeys. It works well for people mixing cycling with public transport, or anyone living in a flat where full-size bike storage isn't practical. The straightforward single-speed approach means less to go wrong and less fiddling around with maintenance.
