The E-Go Max is a folding bike designed to handle real commuting and urban riding without the usual compromises of compact bikes. It uses a 250W motor with a 14Ah/504Wh Samsung or LG lithium-ion battery mounted in the seat post, which you can remove and charge at home, work, or charge whilst riding if needed. That battery gives a range of up to 90km depending on conditions and how hard you're working, making it practical for longer commutes or mixed riding. The bike weighs 20kg and handles a payload of up to 130kg, so it's sturdy enough for loaded panniers or passenger weight.

The frame is aluminium and folds down to 83cm by 48cm by 72cm in four straightforward steps, which means it actually fits in car boots, under desks, or into tight storage spaces without needing to disassemble anything.
