Dahon Speed D7 folding bike with Abus D-lock - ideal commuter - great condition

The Dahon Speed D7 is a folding bike built for urban commuting, designed to handle the daily grind of city cycling without taking up much space when you're not riding. The chromoly frame is robust and reliable, built to last through years of regular use. At 20 inches, the wheels strike a practical balance between nimbleness in traffic and rolling efficiency on longer commutes, making the bike responsive when you need it without feeling twitchy or unstable.

This one has clearly been well looked after. It's only ever been ridden in dry conditions and stored indoors, so the mechanical bits are in good shape and the paint and components show minimal wear. The 7-speed grip shifter is straightforward to use, letting you find the right gear without fussing, and the range covers most urban terrain without needing to hunt for a granny gear on every hill. The bike comes equipped with front and rear lights and a bell, so you're sorted for safety and signalling from day one, and the mudguards keep spray off your legs and frame during wet weather.

The Dahon fold is engineered to be practical rather than fiddly. Once you've done it a couple of times, collapsing the bike becomes routine, making it genuinely useful for mixed-mode commutes where you're combining cycling with trains or buses. An Abus D-lock is included, which is a solid lock that takes the guesswork out of securing the bike when you're parked up. Collection is from W2 postcode in central London near Paddington.
