Dahon Jack Folding Bike Black, 26" Wheels
£200.00 GBP
The Dahon Jack is a folding bike built for everyday commuting and leisure rides. With 26-inch wheels and an aluminium frame, it strikes a practical balance between portability and ride comfort. The flat bar handlebar keeps you upright and relaxed in traffic, while the fold mechanism lets you pack it away compactly when you need to hop on a bus or stash it in a small space. This is Dahon's approach to urban cycling—functional, no-nonsense, and designed to fit into real life alongside other transport.
The V-brake system handles reliable stopping power across wet and dry conditions, and the derailleur gears with grip shifters give you smooth gear changes when you need them. The bike comes equipped with mudguards to keep spray off your clothes, a basket for carrying everyday bits, and an adjustable seat so you can dial in a comfortable riding position. These are the kind of practical touches that make the difference on a daily commuter, especially if you're switching between cycling and other journeys.
The 26-inch wheels offer better rolling momentum than smaller folding bikes, which means longer flat sections feel less laboured, while still keeping the folded package reasonably compact. The black colour is straightforward and practical—it hides muck and doesn't show every splash. This bike suits anyone who cycles some days but doesn't want to commit to a full-size bike in their home or office, or riders who mix cycling with public transport regularly. It's not a lightweight racing machine, but it's a solid, honest folding bike that works for the job.
