The Dahon Hit is the most robust folding bike in the Dahon range, built with an aluminium frame that uses a lattice forged hinge and a Deltec reinforcement cable system. That cable setup allows the frame to handle riders up to 137kg, which is considerably more than you'd typically expect from a standard folding bike. The bike folds in around 15 seconds, making it practical for commuters who need to combine cycling with public transport or store it in a small space.

The frame is paired with six gears via a derailleur system, which handles urban hills and bridges without fuss. The wheels are 20-inch lightweight aluminium rims fitted with Schwalbe Marathon 365 tyres, which are proper all-season commuter tyres with serious puncture protection and reflective sidewalls for visibility.
