Dahon Hit 6-Speed Folding Bike Matt Black, Lightweight

The Dahon Hit is a lightweight aluminium folding bike in matt black, built for unisex adults who need something practical for commuting or casual riding. Dahon's patented folding system makes it easy to collapse the frame for storage or transport, keeping the overall package compact without sacrificing ride quality. At its core, this is a straightforward commuter bike that doesn't complicate things with unnecessary features.

The frame is aluminium, which keeps the weight down compared to steel alternatives, making it less of a burden when you're carrying it up stairs or onto a train. The flat bar handlebar gives you an upright, practical riding position suited to city cycling and shorter journeys, and the V-brake system (direct linear pull) delivers reliable stopping power in most conditions. The 6-speed derailleur setup with grip shifter lets you adjust to different terrain without fuss—enough gears to handle gentle hills and mixed riding, but nothing overly complicated to maintain or adjust.

The tyres are tubular, which tend to roll smoothly and feel responsive under pedalling, though they do need occasional attention to keep them pressurised properly. The combination of these components makes the Hit a capable day-to-day bike that works well for shorter commutes, leisure rides, or anyone who needs a folding bike that won't demand constant fiddling. This particular bike is in good condition and hasn't seen heavy use, so it's ready to ride without any immediate work needed.
