Dahon Espresso Full Size Folding Bike Medium Frame

The Dahon Espresso is a full-size folding bike built around the brand's proven folding mechanism, making it practical for commuters who need to combine cycling with public transport or store their bike in tight spaces. The 26-inch aluminium frame keeps weight reasonable whilst maintaining the rigidity needed for daily riding, and the patented fold system means you can pack it away quickly when you need to hop on a train, bus, or stash it in a cupboard during a staycation.

This particular bike was installed by CH White & Son approximately three years ago and has seen very light use. The frame and components are in good condition, which is typical for a Dahon that hasn't been hammered. It runs V-brake direct pull brakes paired with derailleur gears, a straightforward combination that's easy to maintain and reliable in varied riding conditions. The silver colour is neutral and practical for everyday use.

The bike features five different assistance settings, with five providing the most support, which gives you flexibility depending on route difficulty or how much effort you want to put in. Everything you need to get started is included: the owner's manual, battery charger, and key for the lock system. The derailleur gears handle urban terrain well, and the 26-inch wheels strike a decent balance between stability when folded and rolling efficiency on commutes.

This Espresso works well for anyone commuting in London or the South East who needs a bike that folds small enough to take on the tube or keep in a hallway, yet rides like a conventional full-size bike when it's unfolded.
