The Dahon Ciao D8 Nexus IGH is a practical low step-through folding bicycle tailored for stylish urban commuting, relaxed town riding.

This is a very enjoyable bike to ride with the suspension seatpost & padded suspension saddle making it comfortable at the same time. It has the Nexus 8 Speed internal hub gears which are smooth to use and produces speed when required. It is easy to fold and unfold, even having a catch to keep the handlebar in place when folded. Comes with a rear rack & mudguards.

The front light dynamo wheel was upgraded last year to a wheel with a Shimano dynamo that produces little drag & spins much more efficiently compared to the original wheel. Also has a new front dynamo lamp and the original rear battery light.

The bike was serviced late last year and has had little use since. The service included new chain, new inner/outer brake cables, new inner/outer gear cable, new 8 speed Nexus shifter, new handlebar grips and new pedals. Everything else, including catches, folding mechanism and locking points work well. A really nice bike that is enjoyable to use.
