I got this Carrera Intercity folding bike ex-display with this idea of converting it to electric as I was moving into a flat, but never went ahead with the conversion. I rode it a few times once I bought it and was really impressed with how solid it was to, not feeling like a small folder, and especially how it felt on some of the long decent gradient hills we have in West Yorkshire. The 8 speed gears are well thought out for a bike of this type and give you good scope for doing more than just city riding.

The bike came with mudguards, rear rack and kickstand fitted, all of which are great for practical day to day riding. The seat post and handlebars are both height adjustable and the angle of the bars can be adjusted - these are all on quick release levers as pictured for fast adjustment.

Folding takes 15-20 seconds, even today when taking the pics and I hadn't folded it for months. The fold is nice and compact for home storage (as pictured) or for storing in the car boot or on a train.

Everything works as it should, the gears are probably due a gear service (standard on new bikes after 50-100 miles of riding due to cable stretch) but the gears are quite useable as they are.

This is a great bike for the money, I'll be sad to see it go but it is surplus to requirements. I have the original receipt / proof of purchase.

Due to the cost of posting bikes (even folding bikes due to weight) I've listed as collection only. Alternatively I'm happy to meet you at a train station (so long as its one I can get to without lots of changes) for the cost of a return train ticket, or I can deliver to you in my car at a cost of £1 per mile one way.
if you are interested in me delivering by train or car then I will require payment for the bike and delivery costs in advance. Please also confirm possible dates etc before buying / making an offer.

As this was an ex display model there are a few marks here and there. Most noticeable when I was taking the pictures were a few marks on the chain side of the rear rack bracket, and marks on the handlebar near the bell - both purely cosmetic. There may be other cosmetic marks around the bike so please check the pics.
