Brompton Vintage 1992 L3 M3L 3 Speed Folding Bike

This is a 1992 Brompton L3 folding bike, an early short-wheelbase Mk2 model that's been restored to working condition and is ready to ride. The steel frame is finished in gloss red, which has aged well and been polished to bring back some of the original shine, though the paintwork honestly shows its 34 years with a few minor touch-ups and wear marks that tell the bike's history. The important thing is that a brand new rear triangle has just been fitted, so the entire rear end is completely rust-free and mechanically sound.

The bike sits somewhere between original specification and sensible upgrades. The frame and folding mechanism are as Brompton intended, but it now runs Schwalbe Marathon tyres, a later-style folding pedal, and a sealed bottom bracket that'll need less maintenance than the older setup.
