Brompton T-Line 12 speed Titanium S-Type Lower Handlebar - Unused with box

£4,286.70 GBP

This is a brand-new Brompton T-Line 12-speed folding bike in titanium, still unused and in its original box. It's a British-made folding bicycle built around a Grade 9 titanium frame with a cast titanium bottom bracket manifold, making it one of Brompton's lightest and most refined designs. The seller bought it a month ago as a replacement after previously owning a 2022 T-Line, but a change in commuting needs means it's being passed on without ever being ridden.

The T-Line uses the classic Brompton lateral fold, which compresses the bike down to 25.3 inches tall, 23 inches wide, and 10.6 inches deep—manageable for train luggage racks, car boots, and small living spaces. The whole thing weighs from 8.8kg thanks to titanium tubing throughout, a carbon fibre fork and steerer with magnetic pedal holder, and Superlight components including a carbon crankset, carbon saddle, and CNC-machined aluminium pedals with a quick-release left pedal for easier folding. The seat post is Superlight too, and anodised matt black aluminium hinge clamps and seat clamp keep weight down while maintaining rigidity.

The drivetrain is where the T-Line really shines for varied terrain. The 12-speed Brompton system offers a 402% gear range spread across an 11-13-15-18 tooth sprocket set, paired with an FSA Mega Evo bottom bracket and freehub body. This range handles hills well without sacrificing smooth rolling on flatter sections. The rear frame uses Brompton's Advance Superlight design with replaceable hanger, suspension block, and 54mm roller wheels for stable folding. Both wheels use lightweight rims with double-butted spokes and sealed bearing hubs, shod with Schwalbe ONE tyres fitted with Addix Race rubber and V-Guard puncture protection for reliable daily use. The bike runs Tubolito 34g tubes with Presta valves.

Stopping power comes from dual pivot caliper brakes, and practical details include mudguards, reflectors, and a front carrier block adaptor for Brompton luggage systems. The lower handlebar stem (S-Type) keeps the riding position compact and forward-leaning, suited to riders who prefer a sportier geometry on a Brompton. As a new, unused bike still in box with an RRP of £4,900, this is a complete T-Line ready to ride immediately.
