Brompton S2L Raw Lacquer 2 Speed Lightweight Upgraded Folding Bike
For sale is my Brompton 2-speed folding bike, believed to be an S2L model in Raw Lacquer finish.
This has been my commuter bike and is genuinely one of the nicest riding Bromptons I have owned. It is fast, responsive, lightweight and very capable as a daily commuter or city bike. It now weighs exactly 10kg after a number of tasteful weight-saving upgrades.
The bike is in great working condition with no known faults. Everything works as it should, including the gears, brakes and folding mechanism. It has also recently been cleaned, re-oiled and re-lubricated, including the hinges.

The tyres have intentionally been set up differently. The front has a faster rolling Schwalbe Kojak tyre, while the rear has been kept with a more practical treaded tyre for grip and commuting use. I do also have standard Schwalbe puncture-protected Brompton tyres available and these can be fitted if preferred.
Cosmetically, the bike presents very well overall. As expected with a used Raw Lacquer Brompton, there are small areas of patina and age-related marks, but these add to the character of the finish rather than detract from it. Please study the photos carefully as they form part of the description.
This is a great option for someone looking for a fast, lightweight and distinctive Brompton commuter without going straight into T-Line money.
