A rare opportunity to own this one owner August 2002 built Brompton M6R also known as T6 Touring folding bicycle remains in what can only be described as in excellent, all original condition and only seen occasional short leisure rides when bought new for the first year then stored folded in garage within it’s own holdall until now.

This is the best by far example of an early 2000’s mk3 that I have come across in the 10 years of buying/selling Bromptons and would make a great investment/collector piece, still having ALL of its original parts and accessories including :

Original Rear Luggage Rack complete with the unstretched Bungee straps.

Original Brompton green label tyres.

Original Foam Saddle.

Original Zefal Frame fitted Tyre Pump.

Original Front frame fitted Luggage Block.

Original Plastic non folding pedal with reflectors.

Upgraded from new Brompton Folding Pedal.

Original large Patents Worldwide Frame Decal.

Wheel, Pedals & Front/Rear Reflectors along with AXA bottle dynamo and both Halogen lights which are fully functioning still.

The original Gloss Black paint finish still looks much like it did new and excellent throughout (not rusted like most of these are around the lower rear triangle) and with only a few light scratches/marks on crossbar from use. The rear triangle has some small paint chips from clashing with the folding pedal at purchase which have now been carefully touched in with the correct gloss black paint. The original frame sticker has marks from where folded pedal has leant against it.

Both the Brompton branded green label tyres still have their centrelines, front more visible, fully inflated with deep tread no splits or perishing, checked over/adjusted, and it’s all in fully functional excellent working order, having smooth working Caliper brakes, with the Sachs 3 speed hub gear mechanism shifting smoothly between all 3 gears and derailleur shifting up/down using the tried and tested Torpedo brand thumb type shifters.

The bike has all of its original chain and running gear which remains in good shape, unworn and smooth running order not rusted/seized up having been kept lubricated ready for use.

The original silver plastic mudguards are in excellent undamaged condition (only some whitening discolouration to the ends mostly) along with all the bare steel metal parts which are unusually still shiny silver with minimum rusting to anything and with this year model having the stainless steel shiny spokes.

The lightweight foam grips and saddle are both hardly worn and totally useable or easily swapped over for any regular bicycle grips or Gel bicycle saddle with the bracket.

The folding pedal has one slightly damaged reflector casings and annoyingly leans against the frame when folded.
