These two low mileage light leisure used Brompton folding bicycles remain in what can only be described as mostly original excellent condition aside from some age related patina and discolouration on the silver mudguards where they often whiten in patches not broken.
The original paint finishes still look excellent throughout (not rusted like most of these can be around the lower rear triangle) and with minimal Paint touch up’s often due to incorrectly folding early on in ownership.
Both wheel rims remain free of any heavy wear or grooves, the same with both tyres one still having the centrelines still visible on treads, fully inflated with no splits or perishing, checked over/adjusted, and all in fully functional excellent working order, having smooth working Caliper brakes, with the 6 gears using modern 3 speed Sturmey Archer hub with rear derailleur shifting smoothly between all the gears using the tried and tested Brompton brand thumb type shifters.
