Brompton M3R folding bicycle in Racing Green / Black - New Timewarp Condition

This is a 2002 Brompton M3R folding bicycle in Racing Green and Black, a British-made steel model that has barely been ridden since it left the factory more than two decades ago. The bike was purchased new but saw almost no use after an unsuitable house move shortly after buying it, and it's been stored indoors ever since. What you're getting is essentially a time capsule—a genuinely original early mk3 Brompton with all the factory-fitted extras still intact and barely a mile on the clock.

The frame uses Brompton's distinctive lateral fold design, which collapses the 16-inch wheeled bike into a compact package suited to storage in flats, offices, or under train seats. The steel construction gives it the characteristic Brompton feel—solid and straightforward—while the high gloss Racing Green and Black paint finish remains in pristine condition throughout, with no scuffs, marks, or signs of wear. Both wheel rims are still shiny and unworn, and the original tyres have never been used hard enough to lose their centre line markings. They're fully inflated with new tread remaining and no perishing or damage.

The bike is equipped with a Sachs 3-speed hub gear operated by the traditional thumb shifter, and the hub mechanism shifts smoothly between all three gears. Side-pull caliper brakes do the stopping, and they work with the kind of smooth action you'd expect from a bike that's barely been asked to do any real work. Factory additions include the rear alloy luggage rack complete with original bungee straps, an AXA Bottle Dynamo system powering both front and rear lights, Brompton puncture-resistant tyres, and a Zefal frame pump. The original sales tag is still attached to the saddle. Everything has been checked over and adjusted; the bike is in fully functional working order and ready to ride.
