The drivetrain has been professionally degreased and the chain waxed, which means it runs clean and requires less frequent maintenance than traditionally oiled chains. You can continue using the wax system as-is without any initial setup hassle, or simply apply an oil-based lubricant over the top if you prefer to switch back to conventional maintenance. Waxed chains work particularly well on folding bikes because there's no oily mess to manage when the bike sits in a bag or office.

Hinge clamp springs have been fitted to make the fold and unfold process smoother and less fiddly than the standard setup. The bike is in good overall condition. The tyres, brake pads and chain all show only minor wear and remain in good working order. The rear mudguard is fully functional but has some cracking visible in places, which has been photographed. There are small cosmetic marks and scuffs across the frame and components consistent with regular use, but nothing that affects how the bike rides or performs.
