l am listing a pair of classic Brompton folding bikes, that have been gathering dust in my parents loft for decades. This listing is for the 5 speed version.

Apart from a some scratches to the stickers and paintwork this bike is in great condition considering it's age. It rides great and the gears and brakes are working well. Please note, at 12kg these old bromptons are deceptively heavy.

I'm an experienced bike mechanic so have given it a recent service, including a clean and regrease of the Sturmey Archer 5 speed rear hub. The rear tyre, chain tensioner, gear shifter and shifting cable are brand new parts. And the seat post is still fully secure when extended and clamped (the plastic sleeve inside the seat post is a part that needs regular replacement). There is a small tear to the back-left of the saddle which you can see in last photo, but its underneath so doesn't affect comfort.
