Brompton H6R C Line 6 Speed Folding NANO electric assist bicycle - Hardly Used

This is a 2013 Brompton H6R C Line folding bike fitted with Nano electric assist, and it's barely been ridden. The steel frame comes in Cobalt Blue with the higher handlebar stem option, which is uncommon to find. It's been kept in immaculate condition throughout, with only light marks from getting on and off, a few small scratches on the rear mudguard from occasional outdoor folding, and minor cosmetic wear on the pedal ends. The original owner's manual and documentation from Nano Bikes in Leamington Spa are included, along with records of the conversion work that was carried out from new.

The Nano electric kit adds a motorised front wheel that engages automatically as soon as you start pedalling, using a crank sensor to detect your effort. There are three power levels to choose from and a four-segment battery indicator on the display. A safety cut-out on the rear brake lever kills the motor if you brake while pedalling, so the assist never fights against your inputs. The 36V Macallister battery charges using the supplied 13A mains charger and comes in an Ortlieb Mini O bag. Nano's main advantage is their after-sales service and battery flexibility – if the battery ages or you want to swap it for a different type later, Nano can supply 3D printed adapters to fit various power tool and hoover batteries, making the system genuinely future-proof.

The mechanical side is sorted. Both Schwalbe Marathon tyres have new deep tread and visible rubber centre lines, and the brake pads are fresh. The brakes are smooth and sharp. Gears shift cleanly through the three-speed Sturmey Archer BWR hub and two-speed derailleur using Brompton's proven shifters. Everything has been fully checked over and adjusted where needed. The 16-inch wheels and compact fold are standard Brompton, and the integral lights draw power from the Nano battery, so you don't need to add anything else for all-weather riding.

The bike comes complete with a rear luggage rack and bungee straps, the front frame luggage block, a frame-fitted tyre pump, reflectors all round, and an integral Ping bell. Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses in a padded box, or you can collect from Crowborough in East Sussex.
