Brompton H6L Black Edition

This is a Brompton H6L folding bike in black, a British-made steel frame built for commuting and everyday riding. It's the sort of bike that works equally well locked outside a café or folded up on a train, and this particular example has been well looked after since it was purchased new in 2021. The owner used it as their daily ride while living in Switzerland, so it's genuinely been ridden rather than stored, but the condition is excellent with only minimal marks or scratches across the frame and components.

The 6-speed setup gives a decent range for varied terrain without overcomplicating the gearing, and the derailleur mechanism is straightforward to maintain. The 16-inch wheels are typical for Brompton, making the fold compact and manageable whilst keeping the bike feeling quick and responsive around town. What makes this version particularly useful is the factory-fitted dynamo and lights, which means you're set for commuting in darker months without needing to add battery-powered lights or worry about remembering to charge things.

The caliper brakes do the job reliably, and the overall setup is comfortable for the sort of riding this bike is designed for—short commutes, mixed terrain, occasional touring. The geometry is upright enough to feel stable in traffic and to see over the top of rush-hour crowds, but nimble enough that it doesn't feel sluggish when you need to dart around.
