This is a Brompton M-sized folding bike in orange with an 8-speed hub gear and a roller frame, barely used since purchase in October 2025. It comes from Brompton Junction in Covent Garden and includes Be Seen front and rear lights plus a pair of rack elastic shock cords. The frame carries a 7-year warranty that can be transferred to the new owner.

The frame is built from precision-drawn heat-treated steel tubing with hand brazing and selected auto-brazed joints, giving it the durability Brompton is known for. The rear frame uses hand-brazed cold-formed micro-alloy steel, while the aluminium fork and stem keep weight down without compromising rigidity. The 20-inch double-wall rims are laced to an alloy disc hub at the front and a Shimano 8-speed internal hub at the rear, which gives a 307% gear range and handles the demands of urban riding with minimal maintenance. The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Tan-wall 20-inch x 2.10 (54-406), and the mudguards have been upgraded with improved rubberized flaps for better weather protection.

For the drivetrain, you get a forged aluminium crank with a 54-tooth chainring and integrated chainguard, paired with an 8-speed rapid fire shifter and a chain tensioner designed specifically to manage the variations in chain tension that come with folding and unfolding. The pedals are Brompton Quick Release Wide Platform, which clip away cleanly when the bike is folded. Braking is handled by Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 140mm rotors front and rear, offering reliable stopping power in all conditions.

The handlebar is 660mm aluminium with ergonomic lock-on grips featuring textured soft-compound rubber, and the Brompton Superlight saddle includes an integrated carry handle and mounts for both a rear light and saddle bag. The roller frame rack is the new G-Line specific design with super smooth roller wheels, making it straightforward to roll the bike around when folded. This bike is sized M, suited to riders between 168 and 183cm (5'6" to 6'0").
