This is a 2020 Brompton S6L, a British-made steel folding bike in black lacquer that's barely been used and remains in excellent condition. The bike has been well looked after, stored indoors throughout its life, and rides as it should. It's the sort of Brompton you find when someone has bought it with good intentions but circumstances have changed, so it's being reluctantly sold with minimal signs of wear.

The S6L uses Brompton's standard steel frame with an S-type handlebar, which gives a sportier, slightly lower riding position than the upright M-type. The 6-speed gearing is the standard Brompton ratio and handles urban riding and modest hills without fuss. This is the L-version, meaning it comes with full-length mudguards but no rear rack, so you've got weather protection without the luggage capacity. The bike sits on Schwalbe Kojak tyres, which are fast, slick road tyres suited to tarmac and light paths rather than rougher terrain. They roll smoothly on tarmac and keep rolling momentum well on flat stretches, though they're less forgiving on loose surfaces than knobblier alternatives.

The lighting runs off a Shimano hub dynamo built into the front wheel, so there are no batteries to worry about and no need to remember to charge lights. It's always there and always on when you're moving, which makes it genuinely reliable for commuting through darker months. The bike comes with the original Brompton saddle, a front carrier block fitted and ready for Brompton bags, and the standard rear suspension block. The fold is Brompton's lateral design, compact and manageable once you've done it a few times.

Included are a Brompton saddle bag with an integrated bike cover, a Brompton toolkit, and the integrated lighting system. This is everything you need to start using the bike straight away without hunting for accessories. It's located in Henley on Thames.
