Brompton Folding Bike 4 Speed C Line Cloud Blue brand new

This is a Brompton C Line folding bike in cloud blue, a British-made steel frame built for urban commuting and anyone who needs a bike that folds down small enough to carry on the train or store in a flat. The 4-speed hub gears give you a bit more range than the entry-level models, making it easier to handle gentle hills without overexerting yourself. The 16-inch wheels are typical for Bromopton and keep the overall package compact when folded, though they do need a bit more pedalling momentum on longer flat stretches compared to larger-wheeled bikes.

The frame is steel, which means it's robust and built to last, and the side-pull caliper brakes are straightforward to maintain and reliable in dry conditions. The hub gears mean there's no derailleur to worry about getting bent or knocked out of adjustment, which is useful if you're regularly folding and unfolding the bike or squeezing it into tight spaces. The cloud blue colour is a nice shade and this one comes in brand new condition, unused and unregistered, with all the original paperwork included.

The bike is suited to London-based commuters who take their bike on the Underground or need something that doesn't take up much room at home or in the office. If you're looking for a folding bike that's genuinely portable and proven, this is a solid choice. The current price is £1200, reduced from the original £1509, and the seller prefers to meet locally within London at weekends.
