Brompton Electric M6L 6 speed folding bike 2022
£2,041.60 GBP
This is a Brompton Electric M6L, a British-made steel folding bike from 2022 with six speeds, designed for leisure riding and urban commuting. The bike has barely been used, covering less than 200 miles, so it's in as-new condition. It comes with the original owner manuals for both the bike and battery, plus a Brompton tyre pump.
The M6L uses Brompton's characteristic lateral fold to pack down into a compact bundle measuring 65cm x 65cm x 40cm when wrapped, making it suitable for storage in small flats, offices, or carrying on public transport. At 20kg in weight, the electric motor adds noticeable heft compared to standard Brompton models, but this is necessary for the assistance system. The steel frame and 16-inch wheels keep the bike nimble in traffic and contribute to the tight fold. The combination gear change mechanism gives six speeds, which works well for mixed urban terrain without requiring constant adjustment.
The bike is offered for collection in person from the owner's home, though they're willing to arrange delivery within 50 miles given the size and weight involved. Due to its bulk and value exceeding £750, standard postal delivery isn't practical, so collection or arranged courier delivery is the best option for getting this folding bike to you.
