Brompton Electric C Line 6 Speed Folding Bike 2023 - Black - New RRP £2995

The Brompton Electric C Line is a British-made folding bike designed for riders who want pedal assistance without sacrificing the compact portability that makes Brompton bikes so practical for urban life. Built around Brompton's proven steel frame and lateral fold mechanism, this electric model gives you the same space-saving convenience as a standard Brompton, but with a 44-mile range and motor assistance up to 15mph, making longer commutes and hillier routes genuinely easier to manage.

With 16-inch wheels and a 6-speed transmission, the C Line handles the rhythm of city cycling well. The six gears give you enough range to find a comfortable cadence whether you're on flat ground or tackling inclines, and the electric motor works alongside your pedalling rather than replacing it entirely. The rear rack means you can carry shopping or a small bag without needing to clip anything to your body, which matters when you're folding the bike up to take on a train or into an office.

This particular example is finished in black and has seen minimal use, so it remains in pristine condition. The compact fold is the real selling point here—once folded, it's small enough to store under a desk, in a cupboard, or to wheel onto public transport, something that keeps it genuinely useful as part of a mixed commute rather than just another bike locked outside.

It suits commuters who cover distances beyond what they'd comfortably manage on a standard folding bike, or anyone working with a combination of cycling and train or bus travel where the electric assistance and portability both matter. The 2023 model is located near Bawtry in South Yorkshire.
