This Brompton Electric C Line is a British-made folding bike finished in Black Lacquer, a deep black finish with a subtle gold undertone that sets it apart from solid black alternatives. The frame is built from precision-drawn, heat-treated steel tubing with a combination of hand-brazed and selected auto-brazed joints, giving it the durability Brompton is known for. The rear frame uses cold-formed micro-alloy steel tubing, also hand-brazed, whilst the steel fork is finished in gloss black. All the hardware—screws, nuts, and small fittings—is finished in matching black, creating a cohesive all-black appearance throughout. The trim uses black anodised aluminium components, maintaining the aesthetic without unnecessary weight.

The drivetrain uses four speeds, combining a Brompton Wide ratio three-speed internal gear hub with two external chainrings of 13 and 16 teeth. This gives enough range for typical urban terrain without the maintenance demands of a derailleur system. The wheelset features double-wall rims laced with 28 spokes to the internal hub, built for durability and reliable day-to-day use. The pedals are Brompton's own folding left-hand pedal paired with a non-folding right-hand pedal, part of the compact fold mechanism. Side-pull caliper brakes provide straightforward stopping power.

Battery lighting is included as standard, worth over £85 if purchased separately, so the bike is ready for commuting in low light without needing additional accessories. When folded, the bike measures approximately 64.5cm high by 56.5cm wide by 27cm deep, making it practical to store in a flat, carry onto trains, or stash under a desk.
