This is a Brompton E C Line folding bike in Flame Red, a British-made steel-framed machine built for urban commuting and mixed-use cycling. The bike is a 2022 model purchased in July 2023 and has seen limited use due to a job change, so it's in excellent condition throughout. The frame uses Brompton's signature compact fold, which reduces the bike to a manageable package suited for storage in flats, offices, or carrying onto trains and buses.

The bike runs a 6-speed hub gear system paired with side-pull caliper brakes, giving straightforward maintenance and enough range for most urban riding. The 16-inch wheels are standard for Brompton and contribute to the tight fold, though they do require a bit more momentum to maintain speed over longer flat stretches. A roller rack has been fitted with larger roller wheels, which are heavier than the standard Brompton setup, so the overall weight is higher than you'd expect from the standard C Line model.

As an electric model, the bike takes much of the physical effort out of urban cycling, which makes it practical for commuters who don't want to arrive sweaty, or for riders dealing with hills on their regular route. The fold becomes intuitive after a few attempts, and carrying the bike up stairs or onto public transport is manageable despite the added weight from the electric components.
