Brompton Chpt3 v2 S6E Titanium Limited Edition

In arguably the best colourway of the series, bought new from Avon Cycles in Bristol in 2019, the bike has been lightly used as a back-up when needing to jump on the train/tube. S-type flat handlebars for low fast riding. Race tuned rear suspension block. Only 10.3kg without mudguards.

Chain & sprokets replaced 6 months ago.

Comes packaged up in Brompton box, paperwork and various original bits and bobs that came with it. Brand new, unused original and limited edition Fabric Scoop seat with titanium rails (it's the one that came with it, I never used it - I took it off as soon as I bought it and kept it in storage). The non-limited editions are approx £80 new.

Extras: extended seatpost, necessary if you're 5'10 and over - fitted. I'm 5'11 and I use it at the fullest extension of the extended seatpost. The original smaller seatpost is also included - unused - so you can have both.

Also included are mudguards. Again, definitely worth having if it rains at all, they really do spray muck everywhere if you don't have them. Note that the rear mudguard has a portion cracked off, check out the images.. It doesn't affect performance or usefulness.

I'll also throw in the original tan Schwalbe One tyres, they have been used a few times but taken off quite quickly as they are so thin they are prone to punctures but you can have them if you are running on decent roads most of the time. They are fast and look good. Marathon tyres are fitted and are pretty puncture resistant.

2019 saw the launch of the second version of the bike. An evolution rather than a revolution, the concept remained the same with the details refined and improved. The Brooks saddle and Ergon grips were replaced by industry leading British fabric. The Schwalbe ONE tyres were developed especially for the Brompton x CHPT3 2019. The tan-wall, with 35mm width, lowers rolling resistance and uses extremely cut-resistant high tech fibre - maintaining a high level of puncture resistance. The rear suspension block is race-tuned, offering a stiffer and more responsive ride which allows for improved handling. The fire red front tube is complimented by a textured black main frame as well as titanium forks and rear triangle.
