BROMPTON C-LINE TOUR DE FRANCE 2025 LIMITED EDITION 6-SPEED (BRAND NEW)

This is a Brompton C-Line Tour de France 2025 Limited Edition folding bike in 6-speed configuration, still sealed in its original factory carton and completely untouched since purchase on 1 July 2025. The bike has never been assembled or ridden, making it a new-old-stock example of a discontinued model that retailed for £1,799 when released. It comes with medium height handlebars, which was the only handlebar option available for this particular edition.

The frame is precision-drawn, heat-treated steel with hand-brazed and selected auto-brazed joints, finished in black lacquer with a print depicting Tour de France riders and spectators. The front forks are finished in yellow, as is the bottom section of the handlebar stem, while the main stem remains black lacquer. Tour de France branding features throughout: the iconic logo sits at the front of the main frame, alongside yellow Brompton decals, and "ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ" text runs across the frame. Folded, the bike measures 585mm wide by 565mm tall by 270mm deep, making it compact enough to store in most spaces or carry onto trains and buses.

The drivetrain uses a 6-speed system combining a Brompton Wide Ratio internal hub gear at the rear wheel with a 2-speed derailleur system to give six gears in total. A 50-tooth front chainring drives a 100-link Brompton and SRAM chain fitted with a powerlink connector, whilst the rear uses 13 and 16-tooth sprockets. Integrated brake and shifter controls, introduced to Brompton bikes from 2017 onwards, handle both braking and gear selection. A derailleur chain tensioner keeps everything running smoothly. The M-type handlebars follow Brompton's classic design language and are fitted with ergonomic yellow grips, whilst a new-style larger integrated bell in black sits on the handlebar.

The Tour de France saddle is a specially made Selle Royal item in black with yellow Tour de France lettering embossed underneath – not visible when riding, but a nice detail. The pedals follow Brompton's folding design, with the left pedal folding in and the right remaining fixed. A front carrier block is included as standard, allowing you to attach any of Brompton's luggage options up to 11kg in weight. The carrier system is designed so luggage doesn't overly affect how the bike handles.

Full mudguards in black run front and rear, genuinely effective at keeping spray and dirt off in wet conditions. The front mudguard flap features Tour de France branding. Standard roller wheels keep the bike stable when folded – the presence of the front rack means four roller wheels in total, providing better stability when the bike is packed away compared to non-rack models. The wheels are 16-inch size (ETRTO 349) with double-walled rims and 28 spokes.

Tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Racer in tan wall, sized 16 x 1 1/3 inch, fitted to Schrader valves (8mm car-type). This is a practical tyre choice for commuting and everyday use – the Marathon Racer offers decent mileage and puncture resistance without being sluggish. The bike comes complete with a Lezyne pump in black and a Brompton toolkit, covering the basic maintenance needs you'll encounter with regular use. The C-Line Tour de France remains a collectable piece now that production has ended, combining Brompton's proven folding bike engineering with Tour de France graphics and yellow accents throughout.
