Brompton C Line explore M6L Elec.

This is a Brompton C Line Explore Electric folding bike from 2021, fitted with a 6-speed hub gear and built around Brompton's characteristic steel frame and compact fold. The bike is finished in blue and has been owned from new by a single keeper, who's had it police registered with security stickers applied. It's in good overall condition for its age, with the expected minor cosmetic marks—scuffs, chips, and scratches—that come from regular use rather than neglect.

The mechanical side of the bike is solid. It's recently had a full service including cleaning and degreasing, with the gears and brakes adjusted and ready to ride. A new rear tyre, rear brake pads, grips, and cables have all been fitted. The 16-inch wheels, caliper brakes, and hub gear system all work as they should on a standard Brompton. The bike folds and handles exactly as you'd expect from the design, making it practical for commuting or mixed-mode journeys where you combine cycling with public transport.

The electric assistance system, however, isn't currently functioning. It was working until recently but started disconnecting intermittently over bumps before stopping altogether. The battery itself is healthy—it charges fully and powers on without issue—so Brompton's mechanics suggested the problem likely sits with the connector or controller rather than the motor or battery pack. The seller decided not to pursue a deeper diagnosis to avoid additional costs, so there's no guarantee of a quick fix, though it may well be straightforward. The bike rides perfectly well as a non-electric Brompton if you're happy to pedal without assistance, and the electric components are included: battery, battery cover, and charger.

The bike comes with everything needed to ride or charge it, and local delivery across London may be possible depending on your location. It's worth asking any specific questions before committing.
