Hi, for sale: Brompton Electric C Line Explore Electric 2021 M6L, 6-speed.
The bike is in very good condition for its age, with normal signs of wear and tear, including a few cosmetic marks such as scuffs, chips, and scratches.
One owner from new and police registered with security stickers fitted.
The bike has recently been fully serviced, cleaned, and degreased. Gears and brakes have been adjusted, and it is ready to ride. Mechanically, the bike works perfectly as a standard Brompton.
The only issue is with the electric assistance system. It was working until recently but gradually started intermittently disconnecting over bumps before eventually stopping completely. The battery is healthy, charges fully, and powers on correctly. Brompton mechanics suggested the issue is likely related to the connector or controller. I decided not to investigate further as I did not want to incur additional costs. It may be an easy fix, but I cannot guarantee this.
The bike rides perfectly fine as a normal non-electric Brompton without assistance.
