Brompton C Line Explore, 6-Speed, Black Lacquer, Black Ed, Mid Handlebar

The Brompton C Line Explore is a British-made folding bike built around a steel frame and designed for riders who want a compact bike that doesn't compromise on practicality. This is an ex-display unit that's only been ridden for testing, so it's in new condition and ready to ride without any issues. The C Line sits in the middle of Brompton's range, offering a sensible balance between portability and everyday usability.

With 16-inch wheels and six gears via a Sturmey Archer hub, the Explore handles urban commuting and mixed-use riding well. The six-speed setup gives you enough range to deal with London's hills without being overly complex, whilst the small wheels keep the folded package genuinely portable. The mid-handlebar position, combined with the steel frame, creates a stable, upright riding position that works for both short trips and slightly longer distances. The black lacquer finish on the black edition keeps it looking sharp and resists scuffs reasonably well.

This particular unit comes in a non-Brompton box rather than the original packaging, but the bike itself is complete and fully functional. It's available for collection from London or can be delivered if needed. If you have any questions about condition, components, or how the fold works, it's worth asking directly before purchasing.
