Brompton C Line Explore 2025 Folding Bike 4 speed electric brand new sealed

The Brompton C Line Explore is a British-made steel folding bike built in London and designed for riders who want versatility without compromise. With a robust steel frame and Brompton's characteristic compact fold, it's the kind of bike that works equally well for a daily commute, weekend rides further afield, or trips that mix cycling with public transport. The 16-inch wheels and lateral fold make it small enough to stash under a desk or in a train luggage rack, yet it still feels planted and composed when you're actually riding it.

The C Line Explore comes with six speeds via hub gears, which gives you enough range to handle varied terrain and climb hills without struggling. The hub gear system keeps maintenance straightforward—no derailleurs to adjust or chains to worry about—and the side-pull caliper brakes are responsive and reliable for daily use. The refined geometry and modernised components mean it rides noticeably better than older Brompton models, with a natural upright position that suits urban cycling and mixed-use journeys. Everything feels solid and purposeful rather than compromised.

Day to day, the Brompton handles the reality of city riding well. The upright riding position gives good visibility in traffic, and the compact wheelbase makes it manoeuvrable in crowded streets. The fold becomes intuitive after a few goes, and because it's so customisable, you can tailor it to your exact needs over time—which is why Brompton owners tend to keep their bikes for years. This one comes sealed and unused, still in its original box, ready to go straight out and prove itself on whatever routes you throw at it.
