Brompton C-Line 6-Speed Folding Bike – Matcha Green – Excel-t Cond (Discont-ed)

The Brompton C-Line is a British-made steel folding bike designed for commuters and city riders who need something compact enough to carry on trains or store in tight spaces. The steel frame gives it a solid, reliable feel, and the lateral fold mechanism reduces the bike down to a package small enough to fit under a desk or into a luggage rack without fuss. The 16-inch wheels keep the overall footprint small, making it nimble through traffic and easy to navigate crowded pavements.

The 6-speed hub gear setup strikes a practical balance for urban riding. It handles the typical mix of flat stretches and gentle hills you'll encounter around a city, and the hub gear system means less maintenance compared to derailleur setups—there's no chain dropping or derailer adjustments to worry about. The caliper brakes are responsive enough for city speeds and require straightforward maintenance if needed.

Day to day, this Brompton works well for the commute that involves switching between cycling and public transport. The upright geometry keeps you visible in traffic, and once you've folded it a few times, the process becomes automatic. This particular example is in excellent condition and has been fully checked over, so it's ready to ride straight away. The matcha green colour is distinctive without being loud, and the steel frame has the durability Brompton is known for. The bike is registered, and ownership transfers to the new owner upon purchase.
