Brompton c line 6 speed folding bike (black, great condition, excellent mods)

2022 model, matt black six speed (three speed hub, 2 speed rear derailleur) used less than 200 miles: a few camps, a few commutes, and a brilliant KS2 cycling club on the playground!

I taped and cable tied areas prone to scratching when I bought it new - you can see it in the pictures, but don't be alarmed. All removable if desired.

All changes I have made have improved it no end - it's a brilliant example of a Brompton without any of the foibles which can take the shine off.

Bars:

These multi position bars are double-taped for comfort, still fold perfectly, give several positions for hands, and look epic. Lots online will say cables need replacing for any bar changes - see pictures to prove that these are a brilliant option if you can't find P bars.

Pedals:

MKS ezy pedals. Removable and go in a little bag (included) so it's easier to stash/ carry/ put in a bag. They're lighter and nicer than the standard pedals and no scrote can ride your bike away without pedals! Bevelled outside edge for speed demons aiming for maximum lean angle.

Rack wheels:

Upgraded to larger wheels with replaceable rubber. They roll better and smoother and last longer.

Suspension block:

Joseph Kuosac heavy duty block for a firmer ride - feels closer to a rigid 'big-bike' frame feel.

Modified rear lock:

I've tuned the locking mechanism for a perfect, rattle free lock. See the video - it's lovely. New Bromptoneers often complain about rattling or 'faulty' locking mechanisms - mine just works.

Front block loop:

Means you can get the bag off without fiddlefarting around blindly. It's the leather loop by the headset - much more convenient.

Borough bag:

Takes loads inside, comes with the orange waterproof jacket which goes on. laptop sleeve etc. Many pockets for tools and spares or whatever. 

Light mount under seat:

I made this to take my rear light, as mounting it on the seat tube got in the way of compact folding.  It's neater mounted there, doesn't hamper folding and weighs almost nothing.

Simply put, this isn't a garish flash bike with tassels, whistles and heavy leather fashion saddle.

However,  it rides, commutes and folds as well as any Brompton you'll find. The bag comes with it, as do the pedals, as do the incredible bars. I don't have a commute anymore, and haven't used it for a while, so off it goes to someone who'll love it just as much but use it more.
